So as many as you know Cameron got a job offer as a flight instructor for a company called Airline Transport Professionals that got us moved all the way down here in Riverside, California. It's about an hour east of LA and 2 hours north of San Diego.
It was a crazy move seeing that we knew that we would be moving in about 2 weeks but we didn't have a clue where we were going until the day before we had to get the truck. Very frustrating. So I had a whole day to try and figure out places to live in or around Riverside. I found that Riverside was a little more expensive than we could afford so I started looking to other cities. I found San Bernardino to be pretty inexpensive and here is why. There are bars on most of the windows, junk on every porch, patio and lawn. Hardly any grass, or vegetation. Not to sound racist, but we only saw 1 white person the whole time we were there. It was a pretty run down part of town and now that we're here in Riverside many people have confirmed our theory, that it's not a good place to live. Even a manager that was going to show us an apt told us before hand that, "this isn't a good place for your family". Needless to say, we didn't see the apt.
So after a frustrating afternoon in San Bernardino, we made our way to Riverside right about the time all the offices were closing. The only apt we looked at we fell in love with. Of course anything that we had seen after San Bernardino would have looked like the Taj Mahal. But this place really is nice and is in our price range. Monday was a holiday so it put quite a damper on everything because we had to wait until Tuesday to be approved for the apt. More frustration, stress, blah blah blah... We are finally moved in, thanks to our great ward members.
Riverside is pretty nice and we're slowly getting use to it. The girls have to share a room which is proving a bit hard because Kaity still wakes up every now and again and she wakes up at 6 AM! this is turn wakes Breanne up at 6 AM and guess what? That means I wake up at, you guessed it, 6 AM. It doesn't help that we forgot Kaity's port-a-crib in WA and I returned her crib because it was on a recall list. We've been using the play yard we bought to keep her in but Breanne so kindly lets her out in the morning. Here's what happend this morning:
I hear the girls stirring and moving about in the living room. I look and see that Cameron is not in bed. How nice, I think, he got up with them so I could sleep in. I try and fall back to sleep. About 10 mins later I hear Kaity crying, then screaming. I don't hear Cameron out there seeing what's going on. What is going on?? I get out of bed to find JUST the girls out in the living room! "Where's Daddy?"
"He's sleeping."
"Where?"
"Next to you, silly." (This is Breanne talking by the way)
"No he is not!"
I run back to the girls bedroom to see if he is there. Nothing. I see if he is in our bathroom. Nope.
"Where is Daddy?"
"He's at work."
"No he's not...."
Sure enough. I call his phone. He had a flight at 5:30AM and apprently told me about it when he got home last night. I totally missed that little nugget of information.
I've already posted pictures on my facebook and videos of Kaity walking and dancing. Please refer to those for all your viewing pleasure.

Rexburg, Roomies, and Utah
We had the wonderful opportunity to take the long trip over to Idaho and Utah a week or so ago. Getting to see Sam and Amber was a ton of fun. They showed us the updated sights of Rexburg since we've been gone for a year and a half. Some of these included the new and improved Walmart, Arctic Circle's new play area, and a new frisbee golf course.

Auntie Amber and Kaity

That Saturday while we were in Utah we had a roomy reunion. It has been a whole 5 years since we met. How crazy is that? Even though we have all gone our separate ways we still can hang out together like no time has past. Loved it!

Uh, funny story. I caught them off guard and said, "okay everyone smile". What did they ALL do? Sat up and sucked in their bellies. ALL of them! So funny.

We also got to stay with Maggie and Chad for a few days. It was nice to see them after such a long time and to see that our kids played so well together.
