The first camping trip as a foursome

We finally did it. We got stuff together and went camping with the girls last Friday. We went to Baker Lake because it's only 45 mins or so from us. So in the event that everything went horribly wrong we could pack up and be home quickly. Luckily, that wasn't the case and it went well for our first attempt.

we went for a long hike after eating dinner. Breanne picked where we should go at each fork in the road and insisted that she didn't want to go back yet. Needless to say, Cameron and I took turns carrying her back to camp.
Breanne pulled her chair up as close as she could to the cooler to look at all the different bugs that were on it.

She and Kaitlyn loved "the cave". I think Bre could have spent the entire time in the tent.
By the time morning came and we had breakfast Breanne kept saying she wanted to go home and Kaitlyn was fed up with only being able to crawl around in the tent. We ate breakfast, packed up and went home. When we got back Katie went crazy crawling EVERYWHERE!
Like I said, it was good for our first time. Here's a cute video of Cameron and the girls getting the beds ready.

Update

Cameron is SO close to finishing his commercial rating. He has scheduled his written exam for Saturday and his check ride on Tuesday. By this time next week he will have his commercial rating DONE! Then he gets to start on his certified flight instructor certificate. He's able to get paid to fly after he finishes his commercial, but in the economy today there's no where that would hire him with only 250 hours. Most places want atleast 1500. I've got a whole list of places for him to apply to be a flight instructor. Unfortunately, none of them are in the state of Washington. I'm just glad to have him back for a couple of days after he finishes his commercial to go camping with the girls! Then it's back to the grind stone for him for another couple of weeks.
That's the most exciting thing going on in our lives right now. Kaitlyn is now cruising along some of the furniture and she even tests out standing all by herself when she thinks that no one is looking :) I guess we'll REALLY have to start baby proofing the house. I hate baby proofing. We finally had to put those stoppers in the oulets because she was showing a bit too much interest in getting electrocuted.
We're looking forward to seeing where the future will take us in our traveling adventures!

Her first time at the yoke!

Breanne went on a flight with Cameron today. She loved it the whole time, except for one part. I guess Cameron started doing little "roller coasters" with her and she liked them too until he did a big one. Was a little too thrilling, I guess. She also got the fly the plan, with a little (or alot) of help from Cam. She had a blast with he daddy!

She's a pro already!

It was only a 2 seater so Kaitlyn and I stayed on the ground
but she wanted to get the feel for it too!
