San Diego- Coronado

We got the opportunity to go down to San Diego for a couple days because Cameron and his mom had a big dinner to go to where Donna (his mom) was speaking. Cam was hoping to go and rub some elbows with the big wigs and try and get a corporate pilot job :) He did end up rubbing shoulders but no job offer, yet...
Anyway, we got to go play on the beach (my favorite) and stay in the amazing five starish Hotel.
"I found a rock!" Soon after this Daddy so kindly placed in back in the ocean so she wouldn't drop it on her toes.
The Hotel Del Coronado. Apparently, Marilyn Monroe made a movie here? I haven't seen it. VERY nice place.
Taking a walk with Grandma (Cameron's mom)
Grandma with the girls
"Get in the water" is what this looks like.
Just kidding apparently
She ate sand twice that I could count. Once was curiosity and the second, she was trying to get away from me and thought that burying her face in the sand would do the trick. Nope, just a mouth full of sand.
I think we need to get a sand box. Who knew that it would keep them so entertained?
View from our room. Swimming pool, Ocean, and then Mexico is the lights off in the distance.
I had to put this on here. I laid Kaity down in Bre's bed for an afternoon nap. I thought she would try and get up and be a real pest but in about 15 mins this is what she looked like. Awww, how cute? She's getting to big!

Left Overs

So I had a hard time putting Bre's videos up on the other post so this is my second attempt. We'll see how it all goes. Also, I wanted to put up Cam's pictures from his seaplane training! Those will probably be a little more reliable then the videos.

After a long day of training, bringing the plane up to the shore on the Colorado River in Bullhead City, AZ/Laughlin, NV. After being here I really have no desire now to go to Vegas (if I had any in the first place). This was "Old Vegas" as the signs said. I would hope that "New Vegas" wouldn't be as tacky and this place (as my mom so correctly said) was full of old people. That made me feel all the more weird because we were definitely the youngest people there by a good 30+ years.

The girls and I spent an hour or so hanging out on the beach waiting for Cameron to fly by. We threw rock and looked for pretty ones because that's all there was to do. Either that or go hang out in the smokey casino/hotel.
In the background is our hotel. We're on the AZ side and the hotel is on the NV side.
Flying by!!
Again. I wish I had a better camera...
What a pose!
Kaity really wanted to go in the water. It was warm, but not THAT warm!
Oh, what a stud! He claimed that he didn't know I was taking pictures. Yeah, right.
He had so much fun getting his seaplane rating. It's just a small step in the direction of his dream job, which is to fly one for a living. I don't think he has a preference where (WA would be ideal but we'll take it where we can get it) or doing what just as long as he could.

So the video STILL isn't working!! I'll try and post them on facebook or something else. I'll let you all know by e-mail if I DO get them up and running.

Show Week

Breanne has been taking dance/gymnastics lessons at The Little Gym and she had "Show Week" yesterday where she got to show us all the routines she's been learning.

Breanne and some of her classmates playing "what time is it Mr. Fox?" (I think that's what they were saying)
Breanne doing a handstand

Finishing her ballet routine
Class Picture
P.S. I couldn't get the videos to work on here (I'm VERY upset with my computer or whatever is thwarting me!) so those to come later...maybe...
